Sell the phone on EMI
The customer agrees to the EMI terms, including that the phone can be locked if payments are missed.
Enroll the phone with a one-time code
At setup, the EMI Locker app is installed and activated using a one-time enrollment code from your key balance. It takes a few minutes at the counter.
Payment missed? Lock it.
From your web panel, lock the phone with one click. The customer sees a clear "payment due" screen with your contact details. Emergency calls still work.
Payment received? Unlock it.
Unlock from the panel and the phone is back to normal within moments. When the loan is fully paid, release the phone for good.

Which phones does EMI Locker work on?
EMI Locker works on Android phones. The phone is set up with EMI Locker at the time of sale. Contact us for the latest list of tested brands and models.
Can the customer remove the app?
EMI Locker is installed with device-management permissions at setup, so it is designed to stay in place until the loan is closed and the retailer releases the phone.
Can a locked phone make emergency calls?
Yes. Emergency calling always keeps working, even when the phone is locked.
What happens when the EMI is fully paid?
You release the phone from your panel and it becomes a normal phone again, fully owned by the customer.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No. The panel runs in any web browser — on your laptop, desktop or phone.
How do I buy enrollment keys?
Keys are supplied through our distribution network. Contact us and we'll connect you with a distributor near you, or help you become one.
How much does it cost?
